About Metate Flower Farm
Our Story
Metate Hill began as a vineyard in 2006, in 2024 we began to expand what we cultivate to include flowers and produce. We are excited to share our expanded project with the community at this year's 20th Season of the Angels Camp Farmer's Market!!
Our Vineyards & Gardens
Our vineyards are located in the heart of Calaveras County, known around these parts as Skull County*. We grow our Iberian grapes on the rocky side of Metate Hill and our fresh-cut flowers and produce in the rich soils on the south side.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
Metate Hill has a commitment to use Sustainable practices to grow our Award-winning grape varietals. We extend those practices to our gardens and use organic products to maintain the health and biodiversity of our farm and community.
